Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that it is very easy for him to rule for five years and no power can defeat him as long as he stands by his ideology.
Addressing a dinner given to members of the ruling and allied parties, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that every day news is received that I am leaving today, leaving tomorrow.
He said that if I end the cases against corrupt people, they will be silenced, but it will not happen.
It is easy to rule for five years if I assure eight or nine members of the opposition to end cases
It should be noted that the PML-Q, the largest coalition party of the PTI government, did not attend the dinner given to the members of the ruling and allied parties, while Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed did not attend due to ill health.
Addressing the dinner, Imran Khan said that our party and we will end when we back away from our ideology.
On the basis of this ideology, a whole vote bank stands with you. These voters have come to you with a hope. They also understand that you will succeed in a day or a year (after coming to power). Will be Ups and downs come and they will be disappointed sometimes.
Imran Khan also said that the struggle is never in a straight line but there are ups and downs in it.
The Prime Minister said that the people have given a mandate to the PTI to eradicate corruption from the country
Earlier, leaders of various opposition parties held a joint meeting on Sunday, sharply criticizing the current government’s economic policies and announcing the complete rejection of the fiscal year 2020 budget.
Addressing a joint press conference after the meeting, the opposition leaders said that arrangements would be made to send the present government back home in a democratic and constitutional manner
Leaders of Pakistan Peoples Party, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Jamaat-e-Islami, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), Awami National Party, BNP (Mengal), National Party and Qaumi Watan Party attended the meeting.
